LOS ANGELES, Aug. 25 (UPI) -- Ben Schwartz believes his Parks and Recreation character Jean-Ralphio is related to Steve from Netflix's Stranger Things.
The actor who appeared on The Late Late Show Wednesday to discuss his theory, explained how Steve, portrayed by Joe Keery, is the long lost true father of Jean-Ralphio due to their similar look and appearance.
According to Schwartz, Steve and Nancy (Natalia Dyer) have a child that is born from a "scared, scared sperm and that traumatized egg" following the events of Stranger Things.
"I assume that when Jean-Ralphio came out, he probably sang, and he had way too much hair," he added before mentioning how true to form, the character attempted a get-rich scheme right after birth. "He came out, and got run over by an ambulance to make money."
Schwartz also mentions that Jean-Ralphio would have been raised inside the Netflix drama's upside down world alongside the deadly and mysterious monster who appears throughout the series.
"He was super chill, super cool in the Upside Down. He ran that [expletive]" Schwartz said. "He was super friends with the monster. When he met the monster, it was like a little kid. By the time it was a full-blown monster, they had a dance together. The monster didn't even open yet; it was a sprouted flower."
Recently, Stranger Things creators Matt and Ross Duffer detailed their plans for characters Barbara and Dr. Martin Brenner for Season 2.
