'Vanderpump Rules' stars Katie Maloney, Tom Schwartz marry

LOS ANGELES, Aug. 18 (UPI) -- Vanderpump Rules stars Katie Maloney and Tom Schwartz have tied the knot.

The longtime couple married in front of their family and friends Wednesday in Northern California, the pair's rep confirmed to news outlets that evening.

"I'm so happy to have married my best friend and love that I finally get to call Tom my husband," Maloney told E! News. "Celebrating with our closest friends and family has been nothing short of an amazing experience."

Schwartz had previously told E! that the theme of the wedding was "woodsey-elegance." The reality star revealed the aspect he was "most" excited about was the "picturesque" and "secluded" venue "in the woods."

"It's so pretty," he gushed. "[But] the thing I'm most, most excited about is that we get to have so many of our close family and friends there. It just makes it that much more special."

Maloney and Schwartz, who got engaged in July 2015, have appeared on all four seasons of Vanderpump Rules and are the second couple from the series to wed. Scheana Marie married Michael Shay in 2014.

Vanderpump Rules will return for a fifth season. The Bravo reality show centers on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Lisa Vanderpump's employees at her restaurant Sur in West Hollywood.
