LOS ANGELES, Aug. 10 (UPI) -- Britney Spears will be taking ride with James Corden for a new edition of his popular Late Late Show segment, Carpool Karaoke. Announced Wednesday and then confirmed by the pop star on Twitter, Spears will be singing along to some of her biggest hits with Corden on Thursday, Aug. 25, a day before the release of her ninth studio album, Glory.

"Took a ride around LA with @JKCorden & did a little #CarpoolKaraoke.Watch the @latelateshow on 8/25 to see it!" Spears noted on Twitter alongside a photo of herself and Corden.
Spears is the latest star to appear on Carpool Karaoke following in the footsteps of Adele, Justin Bieber, Jennifer Lopez, Gwen Stefani and most recently Michelle Obama.

According to Deadline, Carpool Karaoke is a hit on YouTube with the Adele episode currently holding the record for most watched late-night segment on the video sharing site with over 121 million views.
