Starring Gael García Bernal, Bernadette Peters and Lola Kirke, the show "will continue the story of the talented musicians who perform and live with passion under the baton of its spirited conductor, best known simply as Rodrigo," the streaming service said in a press release when the renewal was announced in February.

The series is executive produced by Roman Coppola, Jason Schwartzman and Paul Weitz.
