LOS ANGELES, July 31 (UPI) -- Syfy's perennial favorite Sharknado returns with a fresh installment Sunday night.

Once again starring Ian Ziering and Tara Reid, the fourth episode in the franchise -- aptly named Sharknado: The 4th Awakens -- is peppered with cameos by celebrities such as Gary Busey, Gilbert Gottfried, Vince Neil, the Chippendales dancers and Wayne Newton.

Others expected to pop up in the Las Vegas-centric adventure are Stacey Dash, Carrot Top, Erika Girardi, Steve Guttenberg and Seth Rollins.

The TV movie -- which was trending on social media Sunday -- takes place five years after the East Coast was ravaged in last summer's Sharknado 3: Oh Hell No!

"Fin, his family and the cosmos have been blissfully sharknado-free in the intervening years, but now sharks – and 'nados! – are being whipped up in places [and ways] least expected," a Syfy synopsis said.

Also returning to the franchise are David Hasselhoff and Ryan Newman. New additions include Tommy Davidson, Imani Hakim, Cody Linley, Masiela Lusha and Cheryl Tiegs.
