SAN DIEGO, July 23 (UPI) -- Gabriel Luna has joined the cast of the small-screen sci-fi drama Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. for Season 4.
"Vengeance has a new name. Welcome to Marvel's #AgentsofSHIELD, Gabriel Luna," the show's official Facebook page said Friday.
The post also included a brief teaser clip of Luna's character Ghost Rider's signature skull face.
The show is to return to ABC with fresh episodes Sept. 20. It stars Clark Gregg, Iain De Caestecker, Elizabeth Henstridge, Ming-Na Wen, Brett Dalton, Chloe Bennet, Adrianne Palicki and Luke Mitchell.
"Season 4 will unquestionably be the series' biggest, most ambitious story yet, and it all begins with the introduction of one of our greatest legacy characters in Ghost Rider," Jeph Loeb, executive producer/head of Marvel Television, said in a statement. "When the Spirit of Vengeance rides into S.H.I.E.L.D., it'll change everything."
Luna is best known for his work in the TV shows True Detective, Matador and Wicked City.
