Elizabeth Warren, Jeff Daniels, Allison Janney booked for 'Late Show' convention episodes

NEW YORK, July 16 (UPI) -- Senator Elizabeth Warren, Jeff Daniels, Allison Janney and Keegan-Michael Key have been booked as guests on the political convention-themed episodes of Late Show with Stephen Colbert.

Also scheduled to give their reactions to the events in Cleveland and Philadelphia over the next two weeks are former U.S. Congressman Anthony Weiner; comedians John Oliver, Billy Eichner, Eric Andre, Bassem Youssef and Lewis Black; actresses Zoe Saldana, Kathryn Hahn and Jennifer Saunders; and actors Tony Goldwyn and Jai Courtney.

"Each week of live shows will be specially themed: The 2016 Trumpublican Donational Conventrump -- Starring Donald Trump as the Republican Party May Contain Traces of Republican, and The 2016 Democratic National Convincing -- A Technically Historic Event: Death. Taxes. Hillary," CBS said in a press release announcing the show's political convention coverage, which will begin Monday.

"In addition to Colbert hosting live from the Ed Sullivan Theater in New York, The Late Show will have on-site teams in Cleveland and Philadelphia who will deliver pieces directly from the Republican National Convention and Democratic National Convention for the show each night."
