'Bloodline' renewed for a third season on Netflix

LOS GATOS, Calif., July 13 (UPI) -- Netflix's Florida Keys-based drama Bloodline has been renewed for a third season.

"Just drive. Bloodline will return in 2017," the noted the streaming giant's Bloodline Twitter account Wednesday alongside an image of a truck driving down a road.

Series regulars Kyle Chandler, Sissy Spacek, Ben Mendelsohn, Linda Cardellini, and Norbert Leo Butz are all expected to return for a new 10-episode season staring in 2017. The series which focuses on the dysfunctional Rayburn family first premiered on Netflix in 2015 and was created by Todd A. Kessler, Daniel Zelman and Glenn Kessler.

"Todd, Daniel, and Glenn have created a riveting family saga featuring one of the most talented ensembles in the history of television," said VP of original content at Netflix Cindy Holland to Deadline. "We can't wait to see what the next chapter holds for the all-too-human Rayburns."
