LONDON, July 9 (UPI) -- Elbow front man Guy Garvey and Peter Jobson, from the Manchester band I Am Kloot, have written the title track for the latest edition of the dramedy series Cold Feet.

Series star James Nesbitt personally asked the musicians to pen the song for the show, which is returning for a new season this autumn on ITV. It initially ran 1997 to 2003.

"We're thrilled and flattered that these two iconic sons of Manchester wanted to write and perform an original song to mark the return of Cold Feet," executive producer Kenton Allen said in a statement. "Amazing music has always been part the show's DNA and it's great to give a nod to the rich musical heritage of Manchester with Guy and Pete's beautiful new composition."
