Archie Panjabi joins the Season 2 cast of 'Blindspot'

LOS ANGELES, June 22 (UPI) -- Blindspot creator Martin Gero has confirmed actress Archie Panjabi has joined the crime drama's cast for Season 2.

"Overjoyed to welcome @PanjabiArchie to #Blindspot #Season2 @NBCBlindspot," Gero tweeted Wednesday.

"Thank you @martingero thrilled to be part of @NBCBlindspot Team," Panjabi said in a separate Twitter post.

The small-screen thriller stars Sullivan Stapleton, Jaimie Alexander, Rob Brown, Audrey Esparza and Ashley Johnson. Panjabi's credits include San Andreas, I Origins, The Good Wife, Bend it Like Beckham and A Mighty Heart.
