'Bachelor' stars Chris and Peyton Lambton expecting first child

DENNIS, Mass., June 14 (UPI) -- Chris and Peyton Lambton, of Bachelorette and Bachelor fame, are expecting their first child.

The couple announced to news outlets Tuesday they will welcome a baby in November.

"Our families are over the moon that we are finally joining the parent club," Peyton told E! News. "I'm an only child so this will be the first grandchild for my parents, and they are thrilled."

"We have thrown around some names but nothing is set in stone yet. It all depends on the gender, and I think we will want to see the baby before a final decision is made," she added. "Right now we are just trying to pick a color for the nursery!"

Peyton told People magazine she and Chris are "thrilled" to be expecting. The television personality admitted she's wanted children for "a long time" and said she's "so excited" to "finally" be pregnant.

The Lambtons were introduced by mutual friends and married in 2012. Chris previously wooed Ali Fedotowsky on The Bachelorette Season 6, while Peyton competed for Andy Baldwin's affections on The Bachelor Season 10.

"I'm so glad Andy Baldwin left me standing there on that aircraft carrier," Peyton told People after her first wedding anniversary. "I'm glad it didn't go any further because it wouldn't have worked out."

The Lambtons star on the DIY Network series Yard Crashers, which airs Mondays at 10 p.m. ET.
