LOS ANGELES, June 10 (UPI) -- Arrested Development stars Tony Hale and Alia Shawkat have a new project in the works.

The 45-year-old actor and 27-year-old actress, who play Buster Bluth and Maeby Funke on the Netflix sitcom, appear to be working on a new episode of Comedy Central series Drunk History.

Hale shared a photo of himself and Shawkat in 18th century costumes and wigs Thursday on Instagram. He teased Arrested Development fans by writing, "Arrested Season 5. Been a few changes."

The co-stars have both appeared on previous episodes of Drunk History, although never at the same time. The series sees celebrity guests tipsily narrate events from American history as other stars act the scenes out.

Hale and Shawkat will indeed return to Arrested Development, although it is unclear when Season 5 will premiere. Series creator Mitch Hurwitz assured fans the season is coming in an interview with Esquire in May.

"It'll definitely happen," he declared. "Not before the election, but it's definitely going to happen. I say that because the actors want to do it, the studio wants to do it, Netflix wants to do it, I want to do it. It's just making it happen."

"One of the challenges has been a big studio owns it, and they don't make TV this way typically. They sign actors for multiple years of a show, and then they shoot [without breaks]," he explained. "I'm trying very hard to get it done because we have a great story to tell."

Arrested Development premiered on Fox in 2003 and moved to Netflix for Season 4. The sitcom co-stars Jason Bateman, Portia de Rossi, Will Arnett and Michael Cera.
