NEW YORK, June 8 (UPI) -- President Barack Obama and pop star Madonna are booked as guests on Thursday's edition of The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, NBC said.

"Where else besides The Tonight Show and New York City can you have the president and the queen on one show?" Fallon said in a statement.

"Global superstar joins President Barack Obama in one-of-a-kind episode," NBC teased in a press release.

This will mark the commander-in-chief's first Tonight Show appearance. Madonna last stopped by the chat program on April 9, 2015. She performed her hit single "Bitch I'm Madonna" and tried her hand at stand-up comedy.
