LOS ANGELES, June 4 (UPI) -- Alyson Hannigan and Megan Hilty have signed on to star in the small-screen adaptation of the 1996 movie The First Wives Club.
Deadline first reported the casting news for the TV Land project Friday. Entertainment Weekly also confirmed the actress' involvement.
The show is being written by New Girl scribe Rebecca Addelman and executive produced by Jenny Bicks, who worked on Sex and the City, the cable network said in March.
The First Wives Club film starred Goldie Hawn, Diane Keaton, Bette Midler and Sarah Jessica Parker.
