LOS ANGELES, April 11 (UPI) -- Model Marla Maples -- Donald Trump's ex-wife -- has become the third Season 22 celebrity cut from Dancing with the Stars due to a combination of low scores from the judges and viewer votes.

"It's been the most incredible experience. Tony [Dovolani] has been the most masterful teacher. We have had so much fun," said Marples, who was dressed as Ariel from The Little Mermaid for the Disney Night edition of the show.

Actress Mischa Barton and broadcast journalist Geraldo Rivera were previously dropped from the competition.

Still in the running for the coveted mirror-ball trophy -- along with their professional partners -- are mixed martial artist Paige VanZant; singer Wanya Morris; football players Doug Flutie, Antonio Brown and Von Miller; actresses Jodie Sweetin and Kim Fields; America's Next Top Model's Nyle DiMarco; and meteorologist Ginger Zee.

DWTS is hosted by Tom Bergeron and Erin Andrews, while Len Goodman, Bruno Tonioli and Carrie Ann Inaba serve as celebrity judges. Zendaya served as a guest judge this week.
