LOS ANGELES, April 8 (UPI) -- Liam Cunningham appeared on Conan Thursday night to discuss an important Game of Thrones secret series creator George R.R. Martin once shared with him.
"It was the first time I met him," the actor who portrays the honorable Ser Davos on the hit HBO fantasy drama explained.
"I was kind of awestruck," he continued. "He said, 'I've got something to tell you' and he leaned in and told me this secret and he said 'don't tell anybody' so I'm not telling anybody," he explained to a disappointed Conan O' Brien.
"You're not telling anybody, until tonight," the late night host joked. "Did he tell you who ends up on the Iron Throne?" O'Brien asked. "He could have, he could have," Cunningham replied.
After jokingly pointing out that HBO has snipers positioned to take out the actor should he leak any vital spoilers for the show's upcoming sixth season, a red dot appeared on Cunningham's jacket after he was asked about the fate of fallen protagonist Jon Snow.
Even though no secrets were revealed, the star did bring a never-before-seen clip from Season 6 that features his character Ser Davos getting ready to protect the body of Jon Snow from a group of vengeful members of the Night's Watch.
"I've never been much of a fighter, apologies for what you're about to see," Davos says in the footage as he readies his sword.
Game of Thrones kicks off Season 6 April 24 on HBO.
