LOS ANGELES, April 5 (UPI) -- Duane Henry is joining the cast of CBS series NCIS.
The network announced the 31-year-old British actor will play MI-6 officer Clayton Reeves on the final two episodes of Season 13. News outlets report Henry will have the chance to become a series regular in Season 14.
"We think we found something really special in Duane Henry," executive producer Gary Glasberg said. "His unique blend of charm, heart, and athletic physicality is going to be a great addition to the mix. Everyone at NCIS is excited to have him join us."
Officer Reeves is described as a dedicated and honest worker who rose from "working class roots to become a respected government operative." The character is known for his "swagger, confidence, and sense of humor."
Former 24 actress Sarah Clarke will also guest star on the final two episodes with the option to become a series regular. The 44-year-old actress will play Tess Monroe, an FBI special agent who's described as being "as sexy as she is strong."
Henry and Clarke's castings follow news that Michael Weatherly, who plays Tony DiNozzo, will leave the series after Season 13. CBS Entertainment president Glenn Geller previously told reporters the network is "looking at a couple additions" as a result.
"The producers are working on a couple of roles right now," Geller said. "It's not a direct replacement of Tony DiNozzo ... They are working on how Michael's character is going to be written out."
