'Gotham' renewed for Season 3

NEW YORK, March 16 (UPI) -- Gotham has been renewed for a third season, FOX announced Wednesday.

"You ain't seen nothin' yet!" a post on the show's Facebook page teased, alongside a photo of the cast in costume.

The gritty action-drama chronicles the origins of characters from the Batman universe.

It features Ben McKenzie as James Gordon, Robin Lord Taylor as Penguin, David Mazouz as Bruce Wayne, Sean Pertwee as Alfred Pennyworth, Camren Bicondova as Selina Kyle, Chris Chalk as Lucius Fox and Cory Michael Smith as Edward Nygma.

The show airs on the network Monday nights.
