'General Hospital' promo teases Michael Easton's March 21 return

LOS ANGELES, March 12 (UPI) -- An ABC promo for General Hospital teases this month's return of actor Michael Easton, who has played numerous characters on the daytime drama.

Soap Opera Digest posted the exclusive video clip Saturday.

It shows various cast members celebrating, dancing and holding balloons. There is also an appearance by Easton, who is smiling and looking handsome dressed in a suit and sporting a moustache and goatee.

"GH welcomes Michael Easton back to the party. General Hospital. March 21 on ABC," an announcer in the promo says.

Easton, 48, most recently played Dr. Silas Clay on GH, but his character was killed off last summer. He previously portrayed John McBain, Caleb Morley, Fr. Michael Morley and Stephen Clay between the ABC daytime series and its spinoff Port Charles.

It is unclear who the actor will be playing when he returns this time.
