Maddie Ziegler will be a judge on 'So You Think You Can Dance: The Next Generation'

LOS ANGELES, March 3 (UPI) -- Dance Moms alum Maddie Ziegler, who has also appeared in several Sia music videos, is to join Nigel Lythgoe, Paula Abdul and Jason Derulo as a judge on So You Think You Can Dance: The Next Generation, Fox announced Thursday.

The competition series is to premiere May 30 and will feature dancers ages 8-13, who are skilled in various dance styles, such as contemporary, tap, hip-hop, ballroom, animation or breaking.

The contenders will be paired up with all-stars to compete for the title of America's Favorite Dancer.

Auditions have already begun.
