LOS ANGELES, March 1 (UPI) -- Orange is the New Black released a new Season 4 teaser during the 2016 Oscars.

The preview sees Taystee (Danielle Brooks) and Black Cindy (Adrienne C. Moore) poke fun at the Academy Awards, while Sophia (Laverne Cox) remains stuck in the Security Housing Unit.

Alex (Laura Prepon) is briefly seen with Chang (Lori Tan Chinn) and Lolly (Lori Petty) as a guard sends the inmates scurrying with an airhorn, and a team of emergency service officers are shown rushing into Litchfield.

"What's cool is Season 4 actually picks up right where Season 3 left off," Prepon, whose character's fate was left hanging in the Season 3 finale, told Entertainment Weekly in January. "So [it] literally continues five seconds later."

"This season I think is one of our best by far, and I think the fans are going to be really happy," she added. "Our writers are so good and [series creator] Jenji [Kohan] is just so awesome."

Orange is the New Black follows Piper (Taylor Schilling), a privileged 30-something woman who is sentenced to 15 months in a women's federal prison. The series premiered on Netflix in 2013 and will return for a fourth season June 17.
