'Ice Age' holiday special to air on FOX March 20

LOS ANGELES, Feb. 27 (UPI) -- FOX said it will air a new spring-themed special called Ice Age: The Great Egg-scapade next month.

"Scrat, Manny, Sid, Diego and a few new friends from the blockbuster animated franchise Ice Age return for a hilarious, all-new holiday adventure," the network said in a Facebook post, announcing the show's March 20 premiere.

The characters of Scrat, Manny, Sid and Diego are voiced by Chris Wedge, Ray Romano, John Leguizamo and Denis Leary.

The Ice Age franchise includes four blockbuster movies, which were released between 2002 and 2012. A fifth movie called Ice Age: Collision Course is set for release July 22.
