Demi Moore returns to television in new drama '10 Days in the Valley'

LOS ANGELES, Feb. 24 (UPI) -- Demi Moore is set to return to the small screen in her first starring television role in the new drama series, 10 Days in the Valley.

According to Deadline, Moore is set to portray Jane Sadler, a writer and single mother who puts everything on the line to save her 5-year-old child who was abducted from her home.

The new drama comes from writer-producer Tassie Cameron who co-created, executive produced and wrote ABC's hit cop series Rookie Blue. Cameron will pen and serve as showrunner on 10 Days as well.

The role marks the first time Moore will appear on television since starring as Jackie Templeton on General Hospital before the launch of her film career in 1983.

10 Days in the Valley is currently being shopped to networks.
