'Breaking Bad' actress Anna Gunn lands role in ABC comedy pilot

LOS ANGELES, Feb. 19 (UPI) -- Upcoming ABC comedy pilot Chunk & Bean has added Anna Gunn to its cast list.

The Breaking Bad actress will co-star alongside Adam Rodriguez of CSI: Miami and Empire fame for the series, written by Ed Herro and Brian Donovan.

Deadline reports the single-camera comedy's script is inspired by their own childhoods.

Emmy award-winning actress Gunn will reportedly play Dr. Connie Dawson, a psychologist and hovering parent who persistently monitor's her son, Chunk's, food intake. She recently appeared in Fox's drama Gracepoint in addition to Breaking Bad, which ended in 2013.
