LOS ANGELES, Feb. 17 (UPI) -- Eve Harlow has now signed on to star in the pilot for ABC's upcoming courtroom drama, The Jury.

Announced in January, the new pilot was described as 12 Angry Men meets Serial as it follows a single murder trial through the eyes of the jurors.

According to Deadline, Harlow will portray Melody, a cynical character who has lost all faith in the justice system and who has a strong sense of humor.

Confirming the news and her excitement about the new role, the actress wrote on Twitter Wednesday: "So Stoked," alongside a happy-face emoji.

Harlow was last seen on the CW's The 100 and NBC's Heroes Reborn mini-series as recurring character Taylor Kravid. In January, the network confirmed that Heroes Reborn would not be returning for a second installment.
