Production begins on Season 2 of 'Zoo'

LOS ANGELES, Feb. 13 (UPI) -- CBS says it has begun production on Season 2 of its science-fiction drama Zoo.

The small-screen adaptation of James Patterson's best-selling novel is about a wave of violent animal attacks against humans across the planet.

Starring James Wolk, Kristen Connolly, Nonso Anozie, Nora Arnezeder and Billy Burke, it is set to begin airing again this summer.

Season 1 is now streaming on Netflix.
