NEW YORK, Feb. 8 (UPI) -- Canadian comedian, writer and producer Samantha Bee will start shaking up the late-night landscape Monday with her new TBS chat show, Full Frontal with Samantha Bee.

"I actually do intend to make field work a really huge part of the show because that's what's important to me. That's what I love to do. That's what I loved to do most on The Daily Show," Bee said during a recent roundtable interview with reporters at New York Comic Con. "And that's where I really feel like my voice was the most distinctive on the show. It's going to be a huge part of Full Frontal. By design. I absolutely want to do that and I will. Like if I couldn't do field work on Full Frontal, I don't even want to do Full Frontal. That's how badly I want to do that."

Asked if she feels pressure being the only female, late-night entertainer-interviewer on American television, Bee told UPI, "There is absolutely pressure, but I am trying, quite honestly, I am just trying to keep it small and really intentional and I am just trying to keep it to myself and close out a lot of that."

So, is Bee aware of the tremendous support she has from fans and members of the media?

"I feel that and I am thrilled. It's so gratifying for me to feel that," she replied.
