LOS ANGELES, Feb. 4 (UPI) -- Nina Dobrev brings the heat to Lip Sync Battle on Thursday night. A preview for the episode shows the 27-year-old actress dancing seductively close to competitor Tim Tebow during her performance to Marvin Gaye's "Let's Get It On."

Dobrev's dance left the 28-year-old NFL star all smiles before he performed to Survivor hit "Eye of the Tiger." The track is the theme song for Rocky III, and Tebow dressed as the titular boxer for the performance.
"I'm feeling pretty good, I really am. I'm feeling confident. I feel like I have two pretty good songs. I feel like Nina's going to be a really tough competitor, though," the football player said in a preshow interview. "Good luck, [Nina], I hope you do your best. I hope that it goes really well."
Lip Sync Battle is inspired by Jimmy Fallon's popular Tonight Show segment of the same name and premiered on Spike TV in April. Chrissy Teigen and LL Cool J host the series, which was renewed for a third season in January.
Dobrev is best known for playing Elena Gilbert on The Vampire Diaries but left the show after Season 6. Tebow, who reportedly split from girlfriend Olivia Culpo in November over his virginity vow, has played for the Denver Broncos and New York Jets.
