LOS ANGELES, Feb. 2 (UPI) -- Naomi Watts and Tom Sizemore are rumored to have joined Showtime's Twin Peaks revival, according to reports.

Despite lack of official confirmation, Deadline reports Watts -- known for her role in the cult favorite Mulholland Drive -- is reported to be joining the highly-anticipated series alongside Sizemore.

It is also rumored Lynch himself, who co-wrote the new script, may reprise his role as FBI Regional Bureau Chief Gordon Cole from the 1990s original series.

News of the added cast member comes shortly after it was confirmed actress Laura Dern would join the project. Dern joins Twin Peaks veterans Kyle MacLachlan, Sheryl Lee and Sherilyn Fenn, as well as newcomers Robert Knepper, Balthazar Getty and Amanda Seyfried.

In a recent interview, Showtime CEO David Nevins announced Twin Peaks was over half way done filming. The revival is reportedly being produced as a movie, and will later be spliced into episodes.
