'Orange is the New Black,' 'Downton Abbey' win top SAG Awards for television

LOS ANGELES, Jan. 30 (UPI) -- The stars of Orange is the New Black were named Best Ensemble in a Comedy Series, while the cast members of Downton Abbey earned the Best Acting Ensemble in a Drama Series title at the Screen Actors Guild Awards ceremony in Los Angeles Saturday night.

OITNB standout Uzo Aduba went home with the Best Actress in a Comedy statuette and Jeffrey Tambor scored the trophy for Best Actor in a Comedy for Transparent.

Viola Davis and Kevin Spacey won the prizes for Best Actress and Actor in a Drama Series for How to Get Away with Murder and House of Cards respectively.

Idris Elba earned the Best Actor in a TV Movie or Miniseries honor for Luther and Queen Latifah was crowned Best Actress in a TV Movie or Miniseries for Bessie.

Tina Fey and Amy Poehler presented comedy icon Carol Burnett with the SAG Life Achievement Award.
