NEW YORK, Jan. 8 (UPI) -- Channing Tatum rocked the stage with Beyoncé for an epic performance during Spike TV's Season 2 premiere of Lip Sync Battle.

The actor was facing off against his wife Jenna Dewan Tatum who kicked things off with a performance of "Cold Hearted Snake" where she was joined by singer Paula Abdul. Jenna also turned heads by channeling her husband in a Magic Mike-esque performance of Ginuwine's "Pony."

It was Channing who stole the show however when he appeared onstage riding a plastic horse dressed in Beyoncé's strapless black bra and gold choker. The 35-year-old then went into a performance of the pop megastar's hit single "Run the World (Girls)" before he was joined by Beyoncé herself.

The crowd, Jenna and hosts LL Cool J and Chrissy Teigen collectively lost their minds as Channing and Beyoncé danced side-by-side amongst a crowd of backup dancers. "I cannot believe that just happened!" Jenna exclaimed after the dance. "I'm freaking out."

"She is not OK right now," Channing said with a laugh, as his wife collapsed with excitement. In the end, LL Cool J was unable to crown a winner and instead named the married couple the first-ever Lip Sync Battle co-champions. "Got to give it up to my go-hard husband," Jenna tweeted after the episode aired on Thursday. "That was epic. (Buuuuut seriously- I'm sleeping with the belt tonight)."

Beyoncé will next join Coldplay as one of the featured musical acts for the upcoming halftime concert during Super Bowl 50.
