Jenna Dewan channels Channing Tatum on 'Lip Sync Battle'

NEW YORK, Jan. 6 (UPI) -- Jenna Dewan dressed as husband Channing Tatum during her recent appearance on Lip Sync Battle.

The Spike TV series released a new clip of the 35-year-old actress singing and dancing to Ginuwine song "Pony" ahead of the show's Season 2 premiere Thursday.

Dewan sported a pants and tank top combo similar to an outfit Tatum wore in Magic Mike XXL. The 35-year-old actor can been seen laughing at his wife in the background before receiving a lap dance from her during the performance.

The couple will compete on the special premiere episode, which is being promoted as the "#TatumTakeover." The series also released a clip this week of Tatum lip-syncing to Frozen hit "Let It Go" while dressed as Queen Elsa.

Dewan and Tatum met on the set of Step Up in 2006, and married in July 2009. The couple welcomed their first child, daughter Everly, in May 2013, and the actor later praised his wife as a "super mom" in Vanity Fair magazine.

"There's no other way to say it," he said of Dewan. "She is there every single second, every single day. I love being a dad." Tatum delighted fans by sharing a photo of the actress and Everly in matching mermaid costumes last month.

Lip Sync Battle premiered in April, and features co-hosts LL Cool J and Chrissy Teigen. Dewan presently plays Lucy Lane on CBS series Supergirl, while Tatum will next appear in Hail, Caesar! with George Clooney.
