LOS ANGELES, Jan. 4 (UPI) -- In a new sneak peek for the upcoming 20th season of The Bachelor, former contestants Becca Tilley and Amber James are seen arriving on the scene to compete for Ben Higgins heart.

Higgins was named the new Bachelor after he came in third place during Kaitlyn Bristowe's season of The Bachelorette while Tilley and James were eliminated during Chris Soules' time on the show.

While speaking with Good Morning America Monday, Higgins explained how he took his time before deciding to return to the reality dating show. "I think it was a lot to consider," the 26-year-old said. "When they asked initially I think I just wanted to process everything to make sure it was the right decision for me, and ultimately it was. It definitely was."

When asked about the upcoming season, Higgins explained how his time on the show will separate itself from the others. "I think any time you get a group of people in a house together dating one person, I think things will happen," he explained. "It's life and how people interact with each other. Every season's going to be different. So this season is definitely different than previous ones."

Recently, Bristowe and Bachelorette winner Shawn Booth shared their engagement photo via Instagram.

Season 20 of The Bachelor returns Monday, Jan. 4 at 8 p.m. ET on ABC.
