LOS ANGELES, Nov. 14 (UPI) -- Wicked City has been canceled due to low ratings after three episodes of the Ed Westwick-Erika Christensen crime thriller aired on ABC.

TV Guide said reruns of Shark Tank will take over the Wicked City timeslot, starting Tuesday. It is unclear when and where the remaining five installments of Wicked City will premiere.

The 1980s-set, serial-killer show is still being shot, but production is expected to shut down after the taping of Episode 8.

Wicked City is the first new program of the 2015-16 television season to get the ax.
