HOLLYWOOD, Nov. 5 (UPI) -- Just in time for the Country Music Association Awards, Jimmy Kimmel Live! presented a special country-infused edition of its popular segment, Mean Tweets.

CMA hosts Carrie Underwood and Brad Paisley, along with Entertainer of the Year winner Luke Bryan, joined in on the fun reading out loud some of the meanest comments fans had written to them on Twitter.

"You ever gotten so drunk you said a Luke Bryan song actually wasn't that bad? Me neither," one fan wrote to a hilariously defeated looking Bryan.

Country music mainstays such as Willie Nelson, Tim McGraw and Darius Rucker were also featured with band Rascal Flatts taking the negative remarks in stride.
