LOS ANGELES, Oct. 20 (UPI) -- Bindi Irwin delighted the judges and fans with her Dirty Dancing routine Monday on Dancing with the Stars.

The 17-year-old Australian conservationist and partner Derek Hough performed a rumba inspired by the 1987 movie to "(I've Had) The Time of My Life" by Bill Medley and Jennifer Warnes.

Irwin and Hough earned a standing ovation and perfect score with their dance, which included the film's famous lift. Jennifer Grey, who played Baby in Dirty Dancing, revealed her lift with Patrick Swayze was unrehearsed in an interview last week.

"We're so excited," Irwin told E! News after the show. "It feels so good 'cause now we can say we've done [the lift] and we can move forward and nothing else will be that scary."

Singer Andy Grammer and Allison Holker and singer Tamar Braxton and Val Chmerkovskiy also earned perfect scores with their jazz routines. Irwin and Hough are the highest-scoring couple of the season, followed by Nick Carter and Sharna Burgess.
