LOS ANGELES, Oct. 18 (UPI) -- Dancing with the Stars veterans Val and Maks Chmerkovskiy are to guest star on the sitcom Fuller House.

Us Weekly reported this weekend that the brothers will play love interests for sisters Stephanie and D.J. Tanner, played by Jodie Sweetin and Candace Cameron Bure, in one episode of the Netflix series, which is scheduled to premiere in 2016.

"It's really cute," the magazine quoted a source as saying. "Maks and Val play dancers and dance with sisters D.J. and Stephanie in a club."

Bure competed on Dancing with the Stars in 2014, finishing in third place with her professional dance partner, Mark Ballas.

Fuller House is the sequel series to Full House, which ran 1987-95. Returning for the followup are original cast members Sweetin, Bure, John Stamos and Bob Saget.
