NEW YORK, Oct. 13 (UPI) -- Daredevil released a first Season 2 teaser trailer Monday.

"We love two things: one of them is Matt Murdock, and the other is the world that Matt Murdoch navigates," new co-showrunner Doug Petrie said at the convention. "With the Punisher and Elektra, we get to take it darker and further."

Deborah Ann Woll, Eldon Henson and Rosario Dawson also appear as Karen Page, Franklin "Foggy" Nelson and Claire Temple, respectively. Vincent D'Onofrio co-stars as Wilson Fisk, with Ayelet Zurer as Vanessa Marianna and Toby Leonard Moore as James Wesley.

Daredevil premiered on Netflix in April, and will return for a second season in 2016. The series follows Murdoch, a lawyer who gained superpowers after being blinded by a radioactive substance, as he fights crime in the Hell's Kitchen neighborhood of New York.
