CANNES , France, Oct. 6 (UPI) -- Rock icon David Bowie has created the title-sequence music for The Last Panthers, a six-part crime series to air in the United States this spring, SundanceTV announced.

"We're so proud to partner with the world-class team behind The Last Panthers," Christian Vesper, senior vice president of international programming, development, acquisitions and co-productions for SundanceTV, said in a statement. Directed by Johan Renck and set in modern-day Europe, the program had its global premiere Monday at MIPCOM 2015 -- the world entertainment content market -- in Cannes.
