LOS ANGELES, Sept. 16 (UPI) -- Jamie Chung will return on ABC series Once Upon a Time.

"Hey #Oncers, look who's back! Thrilled to welcome @jamiechung1 back to #OnceUponATime season 5! #Mulan," he wrote.

Chung joined the show in season 2, and was last seen in the third episode of season 3. Mulan left to join Robin Hood's (Sean Maguire) band of Merry Men after learning the love of her life, Princess Aurora (Sarah Bolger), was pregnant by Prince Philip (Julian Morris).

"It felt so natural to begin with," the actress told E! of Mulan's love for Aurora last year. "I think it would be really disappointing to leave the audience with this giant question mark. I would go back [to the series] in a heartbeat."

Once Upon a Time season 5 will premiere Sept. 27 on ABC. Chung came to fame on The Real World: San Diego, and subsequently starred in Sucker Punch and Sin City: A Dame to Kill For. She will next appear in A Year and Change with Brian Greenberg.
