LOS ANGELES, Sept. 9 (UPI) -- Sofia Vergara and Kaley Cuoco have topped the Forbes list of highest-paid TV actresses for 2015.
The 43-year-old Modern Family actress and 29-year-old Big Bang Theory star earned a whopping $28.5 million each between June 1, 2014 and June 1, 2015, according to the business magazine. For Vergara, 2015 marks her fourth consecutive year atop the list.
Fellow Modern Family actress Julie Bowen was third with $12 million, followed by Ellen Pompeo of Grey's Anatomy with $11.5 million. Mariska Hargitay of Law & Order: SVU was fifth with $11 million, while Juliana Margulies of The Good Wife and Amy Poehler of Parks and Recreation tied for sixth with $10.5 million each.
Vergara has starred as Gloria Delgado on the ABC sitcom since its premiere in 2009, and will return for a seventh season Sept. 23. The actress also holds endorsement deals with CoverGirl and Head and Shoulders, and continues to oversee her talent management firm, Latin World Entertainment.
Cuoco has portrayed Penny on the CBS series since 2007, and will return for a ninth season Sept. 21. She and Big Bang Theory co-stars Johnny Galecki and Jim Parsons secured a pay increase last year and now earn a reported $1 million per episode.
