NEW YORK, Sept. 9 (UPI) -- Donald Trump is booked for a phone interview on Thursday's edition of The View, ABC announced.

The 69-year-old, real-estate mogul is the headline-grabbing frontrunner for the Republican candidacy for U.S. president. He also famously feuded with liberal, former View panelist Rosie O'Donnell.

This week's call will be the first time Trump speaks to the show's Season 19 lineup, which includes moderator Whoopi Goldberg, and co-hosts Joy Behar, Michelle Collins, Paula Faris and Raven-Symoné, the television network said in a news release.

Candace Cameron Bure, the lone conservative on the panel, was not mentioned as participating in the segment, but she reportedly is still working on the sitcom Fuller House and commuting back and forth between her home in California and New York where The View tapes.

The View marks the first daytime talk show to feature Trump since he began running for office. He is scheduled to appear on NBC's The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon Friday.
