LOS ANGELES, Aug. 7 (UPI) -- Bobby Cannavale and Olivia Wilde star in a first Vinyl teaser trailer.

The 45-year-old actor portrays Bobby Finestra, a struggling record label executive seeking new talent in New York in the 1970s. The character is married to a former model (Wilde) who reverts to her bohemian lifestyle of the '60s as her husband goes through a mid-life crisis.

The preview features plenty of sex, drugs and rock and roll as Bobby declares he "earned [his] right to be hated." Ray Romano will co-star as the character's head of promotions, with Ato Essandoh as a former colleague and Juno Temple as an ambitious assistant.

The Wolf of Wall Street writer and The Sopranos executive producer Terence Winter created the series, which is executive produced by director Martin Scorsese and The Rolling Stones singer Mick Jagger. Winter previously collaborated with Cannavale on Boardwalk Empire.

Vinyl will premiere on HBO in 2016. Cannavale last appeared in Marvel movie Ant-Man, while Wilde starred in The Lazarus Effect with Mark Duplass. The actress is also scheduled to appear on season 2 of Sky Living and HBO series Doll & Em.
