LOS ANGELES, July 16 (UPI) -- The blood-soaked, medieval, fantasy-drama Game of Thrones was nominated for a leading 24 Primetime Emmy Awards in Los Angeles Thursday morning.

The Emmys recognize excellence in television. The nominees in the top categories are --
