LOS ANGELES, May 14 (UPI) -- Caity Lotz will reprise Sara Lance on DC's Legends of Tomorrow.
The 28-year-old actress portrayed the assassin, aka Black Canary, on The CW series Arrow until the character's death in the season three premiere. Lotz will return as the White Canary on the new Arrow/Flash spinoff.
DC's Legends of Tomorrow released a first trailer Thursday that appeared to confirm fan theories about Sara's resurrection. The character is seen rising from what can be assumed to be the mythical Lazarus Pits hot tub.
"There's going to be some differences," Lotz told EW. "There's going to be some repercussions [from] whatever happened and it's definitely going to make a difference in how she is. "I'm really looking forward to it. The stuff they were telling me about it and where they're going to go with the character is exciting."
Victor Garber also stars as Firestorm, with Brandon Routh as The Atom, Arthur Darvill as Rip Hunter, Dominic Purcell as Heat Wave, Wentworth Miller as Captain Cold and Vandal Savage as the season one villain. The series is expected to debut in 2016.
