NEW YORK, May 3 (UPI) -- Scarlett Johansson sent up her Avengers film franchise by appearing in a Saturday Night Live trailer for a faux standalone Marvel movie focused on her character Black Widow.

"Does Marvel not know how to make a girl superhero movie?" a voice in the clip asks. "Chill. Marvel gets women. Coming in 2016."

It then shows scenes from the film Black Widow: Age of Me, a romantic comedy that shows the title character trying to navigate a complicated relationship with the robotic villain Ultron, guided by advice from her wacky pals Thor and Captain America. After Black Widow -- spoiler alert -- realizes she and Ultron just aren't made for each other, she sees the possibility of romance with another Marvel icon, the Hulk.

Avengers: Age of Ultron earned nearly $188 million in North America this weekend.
