LOS ANGELES, April 30 (UPI) -- Scarlett Johansson got a scare Thursday on The Ellen DeGeneres Show.
The 30-year-old actress appeared on the daytime program to promote her new film, Avengers: Age of Ultron, which opens in theaters Friday. Johansson was discussing her male co-stars when Captain America actor Chris Evans snuck up on her on set.
"I think this is our fifth movie," she said of Evans before the surprise. "We've been working together since we were like, I don't know, 17, I think. I know him very well. Too well, I'm sure."
Johansson and Evans first collaborated on 2004 teen heist film The Perfect Score. The pair went on to co-star in The Nanny Diaries (2007), and have appeared in Marvel films The Avengers (2012) and Captain America: The Winter Soldier (2014).
Avengers: Age of Ultron will see Black Widow (Johansson), Captain America, Iron Man (Robert Downey, Jr.) and more take on the supervillain Ultron (James Spader). Evans and co-star Jeremy Renner made headlines last week for calling Johansson's character a "slut."
