MINNEAPOLIS, March 24 (UPI) -- Paula Deen will return to cable television Wednesday.

The 68-year-old celebrity chef will host new show Paula Deen's Kitchen on EVINE Live, a channel previously known as ShopHQ. The three-hour premiere will be followed by a live Google+ Hangout with Deen and her family online.

"I'm so excited to debut my new show on EVINE Live," Deen said in a press release. "Y'all are going to love the fabulous and flavorful products we have lined up for you to enjoy!"

Paula Deen's Kitchen will feature the chef as she markets an exclusive line of food and pantry products and shares recipes and cooking tips. Subsequent episodes are scheduled to air every six to eight weeks.

"We're thrilled to finally debut Paula Deen's Kitchen," chief strategy officer Russell Nuce added. "We look forward to welcoming her fans to the network, where they will be able to shop, share and smile with their favorite 'Queen of Southern Cuisine.'"

Deen previously hosted Paula's Best Dishes on the Food Network, but lost her contract after admitting to having used racial slurs in 2013. She subsequently launched subscriber-based service The Paula Deen Network in 2014, and announced plans for a radio show and podcast in February.
