LOS ANGELES, Jan. 27 (UPI) -- Netflix posted a brief teaser trailer on YouTube Tuesday for its upcoming prequel series based on the 2001 cult classic Wet Hot American Summer, a comedy which followed a group of campers as the summer of 1981 was winding down.

"The counselors are confirmed for Wet Hot American Summer: First Day of Camp, a limited 8-episode series coming to Netflix just in time for summer," said a message posted beneath the clip.
