NEW YORK, Jan. 15 (UPI) -- Jimmy Kimmel has released a new, College Football Playoff Championship edition of his "Mean Tweets" segment.

The skit usually features celebrities reading some of the ugly things Twitter users have to say about them online, but according to Kimmel "when it comes to mean comments, no fans compare to sports fans."

The CFP edition of "Mean Tweets" aired on ESPN before the Ohio State vs. Oregon game on Monday and featured the likes of Desmond Howard, Rece Davis, Brady Hoke, Tim Tebow and more reading insults about themselves.

An NBA edition of the skit aired last June with appearances from Kris Humphries, Amare Stoudemire and Damarcus Cousins to name a few.
